Not every pitch makes it into a list, but every pitch is read. The editors pick one theme a month; your suggestion might sit in the pile for six months before it fits a theme, and that's normal.
What we're looking for
- A real place, thing, book, café, walk, window, or ritual — not a brand.
- Somewhere or something you have been to or done personally.
- Something modest. We're not running a luxury guide.
- UK only. For now.
- A line or two on why it's worth listing. We do our own visit before publishing, so we don't need a review — just enough to make us go.
What we don't run
- Pitches from PR agencies. If it arrives on company letterhead, it doesn't get read.
- Anything you'd call "content".
- Events. Lists are evergreen.
- Anywhere that sells itself as "hidden" or "secret". If you have to say it…
How to send
Put 22uk pitch: at the start of your subject line. That
routes you to the editorial inbox. Include a sentence or two on the
item and — if relevant — one photo, which we will not publish;
we take our own. One pitch per email.
